SUMMARY:Make Your Own Sushi Platter Set: Handbuilding Pottery for Adults
DESCRIPTION:Come join us in out pottery handbuilding class\, and play with clay to make your Sushi Platter Set! \nPottery is an exceptional art form that transforms clay into functional dinnerware\, home decorations\, and sculptures. In this beginner-friendly class\, you will learn how to handbuild your own pieces using slump molds\, carving\, shaping\, and glazing. You will make your own sushi platter\, sauce dish\, and chopstick rest to take home! \nDuration: 2 hour Classes – Check in up to 15 minutes before the start time to participate\nTime: 6:00 pm – 8:00pm\nDates: 2 Mondays\nMaximum # of Participants: 4\nProject: Sushi Platter Set made up of a Sushi Platter\, Sauce Dish\, and Chopstick Rest\nDifficulty: Beginner\nAge: 18+ \n**Please note registration closes 24 hours prior to class** \nCome to our workshop if: \n\nYou enjoy making messes while creating\nYou want to create unique pieces for your home\nYou want to get started with pottery\n\nSkills Learned: Handbuilding\, Shaping\, Working with Bisqueware\, Underglaze Painting\, Dip Glazing \nClass Goals: To familiarize yourself with the steps of pottery and enjoy yourself in the process! \nNot a member? Anybody above the age of 18 or older is welcomed to join! \nWhere can I park? \nMaker Cube’s parking lot has ample space available. Should the lot reach capacity\, there is street parking along 206A St. \nHow do I cancel or reschedule a class? \nRefunds or credit for future classes will only be provided if we are notified by email to info@makercube.ca at least 24 hours in advance of the class. No refunds will be provided for late cancellation\, and a re-booking fee of 50% of the cost of the class will be applied to reschedule a class. \nProcessing fees not refunded. \nPlease arrive 15 minutes before the class for sign-in and to ensure it starts on time\, those arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be able to attend. In the event of low registration\, the class will be cancelled and participants registered will be rescheduled to an alternate class date. \nDiscover more to make at Maker Cube here
