Learn the foundations of ceramic handbuilding while creating your own functional berry bowl from clay. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will explore essential pottery techniques including shaping, joining, forming curves, and adding drainage details to create a finished bowl designed for rinsing and serving berries, cherries, or small produce.
This single-session class is a fun introduction to working with clay and focuses on both creativity and practical design. No prior pottery experience is required — our instructors will guide you through the process step-by-step.
After the workshop, your piece will be professionally kiln fired and glazed. Participants may choose a single-color glaze finish included with the class, or return later for an optional underglaze decorating drop-in session (additional fee) to personalize their bowl with patterns, illustrations, or color details before the final firing.
